Bruises of a Fractured Love
All I see waking up is the ceiling fan,
Hearing the clicking sound,
Feeling pain pulsating thru,
Every bone in my body.
Trying to remember.
Looking down bruises on my arms.
Eyes are blurry trying to focus.
Barely hearing "Lauren, you're awake"
Looking at Cam, What Happened?
I see the dread in her eyes.
Cam I can't remember.
Lauren he was beating you.
All my feelings, emotions not believing,
What I'm hearing.
Now I remember that quote,
Those closest to you will always hurt you.
All because I broke up with him.
