Bruisedsoul
Crumpled into a tight held fist
my feeling torn from my soul
what anger does grow such weeds
that emit foul words to my heart
hear then shatter my respect
for such a beautiful face could turn love ugly
I shirk the responsibility of this hateful wretch
and caution then the reason for natures
Rose and Thorn……knowing now that fragrance lure
does deceive the romantic to let bleed the innocent
and a reason for so many different flowers….makes
me smile.
