Brrr

5/16/20 "BRRR" During a lull I took a stroll And began to mull Brrr This world is cold It's dangerous like a black hole From the North to the South Pole The same ole' same old bull being sold, just like souls For gold And full Control Meanwhile continual items being stole As the bells continue to toll You'll Probably cull Something with wool Only leaving behind a skull Brrr People will bite the hand that fed People will shoot you with lead People will leave you for dead People will chop off your head People will act like your friend and then People will stab you in the back with an object with a sharp edge People will push you off a ledge People will kill you over bread People will tend to often believe what they read People will watch while you bled The ground around turning red People will take back what they said People will say it's all in your head People will says it's the alcohol and prescriptions meds Time and time again People will do anything just so that they can get ahead When Will it end? Brrr Shiver me timbers Humans still bicker And continue to differ Out to make others wither While struggling with pills and liquor Was it always this way Or are the people of today So much sicker I see too many being bitter Out to hinder and injure Whatever it takes, so that they're the victor And richer Even if they have to leave you at the bottom of a river They wouldn't dare call themselves a sinner Only a winner This all paints an ugly picture Like some of what was written in scripture At that point, what really differentiates us from critters? When there really is so much to consider My message has been delivered Brrr Yes maam and yes sir What was done for him or her By: Dalton Ogletree
