Brrr Shiver me timbers Humans still bicker And continue to differ Out to make others wither While struggling with pills and liquor Was it always this way Or are the people of today So much sicker I see too many being bitter Out to hinder and injure Whatever it takes, so that they're the victor And richer Even if they have to leave you at the bottom of a river They wouldn't dare call themselves a sinner Only a winner This all paints an ugly picture Like some of what was written in scripture At that point, what really differentiates us from critters?
