Well written Bernard - so humorous and exciting. There is an old saying 'You don't find the Book - the Book finds you' - So we haven't got a chance - they keep finding us - However - enter the Amazon Kindle - and there you go - It's such a space saver. Enjoyed your poetry my friend ...Maria

Yes indeed, the books keep tracking me down. You're right, I really should shop for a Kindle. Thank you, Maria :)

Lol.. I love that Bernard! My daughter is like that too. She's never met a book she didn't like... they all come home with her or find their way here via mail.. haha! Her room is my library:)))

Thank you so much, Susan! I think the unread books on my bookshelves now outnumber the ones I have read by a comfortable margin. But, you're right, can never have too many of them :))

Thanks a lot, Maureen! For me, it's mainly books and music as far as Internet shopping goes, so yeah, it could be a lot worse :) But they sure make it very easy for you to part with your money . . . maybe turning off that 1-click ordering button would help . . . :)
