Brown Eyes Blue

You made these brown eyes blue
You make your baby cry
I just don’t understand…
Tell me the reason why

You said that you love me 
Confessed desire, too
Now you've gone and done it
You've made these brown eyes blue

I don't mean to blame you 
And I don't mean to chide,
But my broken heart grieves
For HER you left my side

Now you want to love me
You think that I will swoon,
When this you KNOW full well,
You left me way too soon!

Though I do adore you
With a love, oh, so true
I will not stay around
You made these brown eyes blue
