Brown Eyes

I could get lost
in the color of your eyes
Those rich chocolate pools
could consume me
Or remind me of warm blankets,
sitting beside you in perfect contentment
Or nights alone cloaked in darkness
longing to be beside you
The color of your eyes is
warmth and comfort
Being outside, or inside, or wherever we decide
And in the sun
they're as brilliantly golden as you
Your eyes are the
simplicity of loving someone unconditionally
The warmth and comfort brought to me by you
