Brown Boy Dreams

Brown boy sleeps with his head on his grandmothers lap, She combs his pitch black hair as he drifts off Brown boy dreams, of a world with the light stolen by thieves from a different land he dreams of lighting and thunder, forces of destruction that clouds the light Brown boy awakens, It was just a dream Brow boy dreams, dreams of a time where he can never let go of his grandmothers grasp he looks up into the clouds, he sees a bright light, He dreams, and sees a dragon, Scared, brown boy awakens, it was just a dream Brown boy dreams of his grandmother revealing her sword and luring the dragon. He dreams of his grandmother fighting the dragon and he just stares in amazement But as she drops her sword the dragon attacks And his dream fills with the sounds of Brown boy dreams, he picks up his grandmothers sword Hes never stood up to the dragon Brown boy dreams, of his grandmother teaching him how to survive, He dreams, and as the dragon dives right for him Hes met head first with the tip of the sword Brown boy dreams, And he dreams And he dreams As the dragon falls to the ground, Rises his grandmother holding hands With a line of those who came before Brown boy Greets his ancestors for the first time, he welcomed them home, for good
