BROTHERS
Brethren I write to you
I Understand I wronged you
And did not believe in you
I gave the enemy my ear
Forgetting what was our nia
A wish that our ancestors shedded blood for
Disunity easily scattered it
My heart is bleeding not knowing when it will end
My eyes are flooding with tears
My arms are trembling with fear
When I realize I pointed a gun at my brothers
A wise man once said I’m not free
Until my neighbors land is liberated
Let’s join our hearts and hands to build a bridge
That will bring everyone to the light and liberty
The hands that will flee the enemy,
The enemy that have occupied our territories
They made us starve while we have food in the farms
Tanzanite in the mines and oil in the field
Not only oil and fish in lakes and ocean.
