Brother With Another Mother
A brotherly embrace,
Coming from a man,
Who hasn’t ever given me
More than a fist bump,
Who is ready to drop everything
To lend an ear,
Who treats me like
His own sister,
Who forces me on the inside of the sidewalk
Away from the road,
Who has the most wonderful
reassuring eyes
Is beyond most i’ve seen
