Brokenhearted Blue

I took my Cobalt,
And mixed with Ultramarine,
To lay in this painting,
The color of this love.

Setting the mood in this piece,
This color so cold and real,
Here on my canvas,
The color of my tears.

Once sunlit bright,
Now somewhere between Midnight and Navy,
Since you have been gone,
The color inside me.

I did the first one in rhyme form for a contest but rechecked the specifications and it had to be free verse and then did this one. I like it better. Thanks friend! :)
