Broken Wings, Rising Hearts

In shadows deep, where love once gleamed, A heart now shattered, a soul it seemed, She loved with fervor, pure and true, But he, a storm, her skies turned blue. His words like daggers, cutting deep, Her tears a river, she couldn't keep, Each day a battle, each night a plea, For love's sweet solace to set her free. Yet he, a phantom, elusive, cold, Her heart's desire, now tales untold, She wept in silence, her spirit frail, In love's cruel dance, she found no avail. Mistreated, neglected, she bore the pain, Her love unrequited, a relentless chain, But through the darkness, a flicker ignites, Her strength emerging from endless nights. For in her sorrow, she found her might, A phoenix rising, reclaiming her light, No longer bound by love's cruel game, She soared above, no longer the same. Though scars may linger, she'll rise above, With newfound courage, she'll reclaim her love, For in the ashes of a heart betrayed, She'll find the strength to love again, unafraid.
