Broken Wing

I couldn't imagine as time sailed by
To the first kiss we gave
Set aside the times we cried
To the candles sticks that burn
                               Like flames within our hearts
                                 Not knowing what I had....
                                     I need you my love
Grasping for your love in my dreams
Living through the breath of life, you provided
                            Awakened by my own nightmares
                                           Foolish love,
Or does love make you do foolish things?
Sing one last song, my love
In ways, your voice use to mesmerize my mind
How do you mend a broken wing?
                                        Hoping you'll heal
                                    So, hopelessly I'll dream
