Broken Vows

For the times you spent in the arms of someone other then me As my name spills out your mouth like some bad tasting medication Kicking me to the ground while you stand there praying for my death Evolutionary these words never meant a thing to you Venom fills the mouth but never kills a liar Over the rainbow I sit while I watch from behind a glass window Wishing I was blind so I couldn't see the way you look in her eyes Spilled secrets seem as if they all were wine spilling on that white T-shirt of yours Cheating is like dying My heart now stopped by the sight of summer relationships dying I stand here numb by the sights of couples hiding behind lies I realized that was the day I died I speak these words like they mean something to you knowing no real meaning will ever get through your thick skull I tore our vows that day you broke the promise of loving me as if I was the only particle of oxygen
