Broken Truth
He tells truth to hide away far
warning it not to appear
anywhere near his hometown
But truth is a stubborn creature
it does the inverse of standard set
when it happens
he gets truth and slaps on the face
then drags it into cupboard
to live under key and lock
Truth is a riddle to the like-minded
alloyed with mud, filth and garbage
they hide it, lock it, warn it
still it will come out one day
Even if it is broken in its limbs
the wings may be tied and feathers plucked
its head may be truncated and buried
It can limp out to public intact with time
to confirm that alive it is despite odds
