Broken To None

A sad tune plays in my day Memories flow like the rivers down to the bottom I plea, for tomorrow I shall be no more Where will my drams rest? Along my bones will be my good deeds Where will my wrong doings reside But along in your heart Will you step on me? When I die at rock bottom Will you stomp on my dreams as you have my soul I had you know I will to the world as a speaker To seek the good of this life-time I pray For my Lord to return upon His white stallion See the highest point in heaven Marvle at the glow of the stars Let peace be with you As I part to my own will Hold your heart still For a dream stands upon your view And you ignore to the poorest point Let it dwell in your non concious Split reality from a different realm I weep I sing to your hearts joy, and it keeps Dream with me, as I fall asleep

Jeremiah, this is excellent, and you can feel the pain through this piece of poetic feeling.

this is a cry,i know you bro and i can feel why you are crying-a dream stands upon your view, and you ignore it to the poorest point-i can see the cry there,a rejection by somebody dear, hitting rock bottom, dreams shattered but hope still there, give it time--heartfelt bro,but after darkness there comes light---charma

Very thought-provoking, Jeremiah. In Shakespeare's play "Julius Ceasar," Mark Anthony says, "The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft' interred with their bones." Guess Shakespeare felt fame is fleeting and infamy lasts forever. I hope this isn't the case. Many good men and women come to mind when I think of our past heroes...MANY! Great work -- It got me thinking! Love, Carolyn
