Notes About The Poem

Broken Reflections

I tend my bruised face;
she rides, no care in the world.
How I wish I could be her.
              ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                       Living in my car,
                       she stares from her lavish home.
                       How I wish I could be her.
Facts of life. We always see things from a distance and wish the worst on ourselves thinking it would bring us happiness, when in fact we should be grateful for where we are and what we are at that point. Grey write FJ.
FJ heartfelt piece my friend. So many are hurting these days and we spend billions on other countries and wars and we can't take care of our own. Really sad my friend...
A poem of contrasts, examining the two sides of the coin. Things are not always what they seem to be ... judging a book by the cover can lead to disappointment. ~ Warm regards // paul
Who knows what goes on in other people’s lives FJ, on the surface it may appear to be a dream, but in reality they may well be sharing the same nightmare, a brilliant approach taken here, cheers David
