Broken Reflection

Be brave now what you may see
Real pain is not just image deep
Only my reflection will know
Keeping it bottled makes it grow
Even as I look inside
No one could know how much I tried

Rending my sight so no one gets in the way
Every time I see my smile
Feels like I am stuck on trial
Like the mirror sees and hides the frown
Every reflection sees it upside down
Can you see the smile I drew
The face I carved it's all for you
I can not stop pretending
Only thing I fear is the hatred which is trending
Now I can say the smile is real unlike the scars and how I feel
