Broken Promises

Broken promises, 
Unanswered prayers,
Failure is just another way. 
Try your hardest but never is it good enough. 
Always coming up short when it needs to count. 
Time and time again you are your own worst enemy.
No one has to let you down you do it on your own.
What do you do when you let yourself down?
When it wasn’t someone else making you frown.
on the outside you fail miserably.
Your insides fight and scream.
As you let yourself down again.
