Broken Pieces

Broken Pieces
By Franklin Price

Broken pieces in our lives
Much as a broken bike
It may still be ridden
But not the way we like

Pick up all life's pieces
Bring them together one and all
The ones that made you rise up
And the ones that made you fall

Put the pieces all together
So no part of life is broke
For the rolling wheel will wobble
If there is a broken spoke

When all repairs are finished
And the pieces are complete
Ride the trails that make you happy
And the bad ones don't repeat
