Broken Pieces

When a boy meets a girl
There is such a non-simple reaction
Eyes meet and run a distance
Disgust of flattery is dished as deserved
But boy and girl get complicated
Love comes into our equation and it changes
Eyes who are fleeting turn into hands who want to touch
Girls with googly eyes just want to be loved
Either the man be good or bad
Hands who touch can bring the relationships innocence to a halt
A touch, a smile ,
The key to an insecure girl.
She runs for him, she gives her all
But soon he will get bored and tired
He leaves with something he never deserved
The innocence of a girl, and her heart
Leaving her with broken pieces to pick up

p.s. i wrote this from and example of a love story of a very close friend, i wrote this poem for her. :)
