Amazing monoku, I like how you end the line. Who feeds who? Linda

This monoku is gentle...extravagant..I love a line that leaves one thinking... I imagine the long drooping branches sinking in the depths of cool waters...they feed each other no doubt...this is what we do here on this site... feed each other our mind's beauty, experience and imagination. Another brilliant verse.

Hi Maurice! Looks like I missed out on another Monoku...my fault, should have visited earlier! Also, belated birthday wishes...you're still younger than I am:) Excellent monoku; weeping willows give that something extra to any poem...the second line is food for thought. // paul

by the way, I think I actually like the first one better!! It makes us come by ourselves to that conclusion you give us in the second one!

Well, you asked my opinion so here it is. They are both good, but my understanding of how he describes the form, you can't make opinions or draw conclusions about what you are "showing" us. In other words, you just paint the picture. Also, I think you will do yourself a disfavor by giving an alternate, my friend. I think the judges do not want to see poets doing that when they ask for only one. Love what you said about your birthday. Trying to get that brownie point. heehee. you GO, Maurice!!
