Broken Heart

A gush of wind, it hit me
It sucked me in, then spit me
It burned my skin, off my flesh
Forced reality and horror to mesh
Plucked my hairs one by one
Fried my scalp from the sun

You said our love was timeless
Even if we were dime less

You said I need not fear
The end becoming near

Because our love would never fade
No matter how our story played

a fire beside a water spout
Rain drop thriving in a drought

Hell is frozen, pigs can fly
The bluest moon lights up the sky
Against all odds stood you and I
But now you leave me asking why
