Broken Glasses

There will always be broken pieces of glass wherever you go. And more often than you want to admit You've chosen to step on them and bled You wanted to see how far you can go You wanted to see how long you can endure One step after another and again You kept pushing for one more step You knew what it felt You wanted to feel them once more But this time you didn't cry This time you didn't say a word You haven't found a way to make the bleeding stop You found the reason why the wounds never healed You learned and found your reason That they will always be in your way And this time you can push the broken glasses away.
