Broken Glass

You pick it up
Try to fix the shattered pieces
Apologize for what you did
But everyone knows your true feelings

Act like everythings okay
Until somebody else notices
Try to make up excuses
Because you know the reasons you did it

Call your lawyer because you know somethings about to happen
Deny it all as the cops drag you away in handcuffs
All that's left is my heart
Like broken glass on the floor

From this war
I'm tired of fighting
