Eve Roper Poet Rhyme

Broken Dream

Beneath the infinite shattered night. 
The endless sharp voices influence in spite 
It clatters in chaos for eternal reality. 
Limitless and unconditional love, cease to be. 
Our future was closely woven with everlasting, 
Enduring passion; it all ended with your passing. 
I have become an island, recluse in a boundless 
Ocean of salty tears, forlorn figure of soundless 
Screams. Grief in sullen unbroken silence 
Looms my thoughts with your absence. 
Relentless, as I breathe, my heart falls bottomless 
To a pit of endless agonizing pain in darkness.
