Broken Down
I've lived on the streets,
With no where to go,
I've eaten from trash cans,
Because I didn't have a home,
I've been depressed,
And tried over dosing,
But I see the purpose of my life,
Here on this earth,
I've been abused,
Mentally and physically,
My heads still high,
Trying to forgive and forget,
Been in the cold,
And little to no help,
Had given up custody,
Of my son,
Times have been hard,
But I know what I want,
Know a play in hell,
I'm letting go of my loved ones,
My kids will be safe,
And happy too,
Life is not perfect,
I'm not greedy though,
I know what I want,
And hoping soon,
I will be here,
In the long run...
