Broken Doll

I’m like a doll.
A lifeless body
without a soul.
A porcelain replica,
a hollow face,
an empty heart
and chest filled with fibre.

I’m like a doll.
Haunting eyes,
with a sorrow filled glance.
Countless hair fine cracks upon my cheeks,
each with their own tale to tell.

A broken doll,
that’s what I am.
With no mind,
no feelings that are my own.

This is a very haunting, chilling poem. This one is my favorite of ours that I have read so far. "With no mind, no feelings that are my own."... wow! I love this! Always, Laura
