Broken Dawn

"Broken Dawn"

Please help me to understand 
why I'm feeling like I do
I thought we wanted the same things
was I misunderstanding you

I'm speaking to you now
just like I did right from the start
My eyes and ears are open
and sincerely from the heart

We talked about relationships
what was acceptable and what was not
We didn't just scratch the surface either
in fact we talked alot

I remember how great we felt
because so much we did agree
Or was I somehow missing something
and you didn't mean with me

Maybe things have changed for you 
somewhere along the way
And you find yourself unable to love me 
like you thought you could back in the day

But something has happend here
And it's breaking my heart
 I need you to help me understand
Because I want what we had from the start

And I ask one final thing of you
dont try to spare feelings in what you say
I'd rather hear the truth from you now
then to hear it from someone else some day
