Broken Blissful Heart

Within the shadow of a broken heart love trembles in the corner shattered and alone heart drumbeats sad rhythm tears flow over aching waterfalls despairs solemn words dominate me paralyse me The seed of hope intrinsic force, a miracle love contemplates life’s possibilities thoughts drift along, tumbleweeds blown by winds of change to bloom in the minds meadow there beats a courageous heart Entered in “One in Four Poetry Contest” Sponsor: Joseph May Date 15/08/2019 Placed 2nd with thanks

Your first two lines are delightful! "Within the shadow of a broken heart love trembles in the corner" - these two lines were enough to be a whole poem. The rest was just showing off, Georgia. This one should go straight to the top of any contest.
