Broken Beginning
The lights fade
Followed by a flicker
Ever so slightly
I slip out to evade
In the beginning
Alles muss gebrochen werden
In the beginning
All must be broken
Switch tongues on a dime
Ich bin ein Heide
Ein Heide
But what do you know?
The lights buzzed out
And I'm filled with doubt
A coward's prose
Es geht mir gut
But a blending failure
And styles clash
I'm not phenomenal
I'm simply ordinary
In the beginning
Alles muss gebrochen werden
In the beginning
All must be broken
I slip out to evade
Ever so slightly
