Broken and Chilled

So much sadness, so much pain, Sometimes I think there's nothing to gain. No reason to live, no reason to fight, No happy ending when I reach the light. Unloved by all and cherished by none, I fear I will never find 'the one'. Broken promises and shattered dreams, My life is coming apart at the seams. Surrounded by people, surrounded by faces, All around me are sacred spaces. Nowhere to hide, nowhere to run, Everything is becoming undone. Feelings of love and feelings of lust, All of my aspirations have turned to dust. No hope left, wishes unfulfilled, All that remains is my heart, broken and chilled.
