Broken

These scars,
They burn,
From every time I've sunk into this state,
Once again,
And again,
And AGAIN.
Why?
I can't explain this darkness surrounding me,
This uninhibited darkness.
I want only to jump,
From that bridge in my heart, which is, mine.
To take a risk.
To go outside of my comfortable shell.
I'll never be your mold.
Your mold that you want so terribly for me to be.
I'll never be that.
So just forget it.
And take a chance with a small porcelain doll,
One with cracks,
And crying eyes,
She'll smile.
But she's broken.
So understand that simple fact.
And treat her with great care.
For there is no other doll as beautiful as her,
Even though she is broken.
