Broken

Torn, shattered, shredded inside, beyond restoration, your ignored all the time. Begging to be seen, wanting to be fixed. Saddened with despair, part of you is missing, a piece of you is gone. You've changed, your a puzzle waiting to be solved. Your broken, your a watch that can't tell time, you can't tell when it's day and night, for you are shadowed in endless darkness, filled with black inside. Tape may patch your wounds, but you will never be the same. Glue may stick you back together, but it can't fill all the cracks, the blemishes that reside in your spirit. Stitches might patch you up, but the scars will always remind you. Screws and bolts can fasten you up, but they can always be undone. You may be fixable, but you will always be different. You've been changed, mistreated, and smashed apart. Eyes gazing downwards, feet crossed, smile thinning, your an animal, caged in a zoo, defeated, for you are stuck, trapped in a twilight. You are wild, divergent from the others, for you have befriended Lucifer, seeking to be ordinary, or seeking an end to this game, that you no longer want to play. You've lost, for you will always be distinctly subdued, always be cut up. Like a cake, you are wonderful, but as your sliced up, your goodness vanishes, your sweetness is chopped up, consumed by other greedy individuals.
