Broken

Come, let’s write our chronicles on the leaves of our minds you in black, I in white ink. Tales of how our hearts got B R O K E N. Come, let me hear the lyrics of the dirge you warbled for love -while the dwindling flare of hope died and your life began through the ashes of sham- Come, let me tell you of my yarn how I swayed to the rhythm of deceit and walked the aisle of betrayal like a new bridal fool relishing the warmth of a lie. Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
