Broken
Winters fog barks in delusions,
horrors days paste ribbed screams.
Visions of dripping embers died
upon rusted apprehensions nightmare.
As gutters crowd with agitation,
anxiety floods darkened hallways.
Willowed wonders haunt my nerves,
slithering in altered growth of life.
Graven images taunt fears sorrows,
burying hollowed assurance forever.
Coughing wilted reverence for life,
in bloody tolerance for discouragement.
In my skins ripped torment,
facing false perceptions hidden.
The true person arose silently,
as beautiful bliss turned into terror.
