Broken

Everyone who loved you begged for you to stay, You turned your back and walked away. You looked back and put up your middle finger, Stood there for a second and let it linger. You threw everyone away like you dont care, But yet here a few months later in our eyes you still cant stare. Maybe theres something your trying to hide, Like the sadness i can see with out looking in your eyes. So much has changed your face is differant now, You forgot how to smile you only frown. Now for me theres no reisentment, Im not happy or sad just content with. The cards I was delt, The loss of our friendship is just another under my belt. And evern tho I cant stand to see you around, From my mouth you wont hear a sound. Doesnt mean I'm upset or mad, I just cant stand to see what once was my best friend so sad. And yet still threw it all, You have people who dont want to see you fall. So I apologize if when you walk threw the door, I turn my head, I just cant stand to see you hit the floor. I'm sorry I keep distant to protect me, But know if you look back right there i'll be. Ready to grab your hand, Just to make sure you always stand.
