Broken

Oh, the hurt I endured,
The shame, the pain I suffered,
The game—and yet, no blame—
For you were narcissistic, as I, uncovered.

You walked away with all my trust,
Left me drowning in the dust.
A shattered heart, a silent cry,
no explanation,
leaving me to wonder why?

But I have learned, I’ve come to see,
The chains are gone, I set me free.
No longer bound by love unfair,
I rise above—I cease to care.

Though scars remain, they do not bleed,
I’ve found the strength I truly need.
No longer lost within your maze,
I stand alone—but in my grace.
