Our circle of friends is now broken; the changes it's made are unspoken. From twelve to five- now just a token; our circle of friends is now broken. Each year, one or two of them- leaving to move away- kinfolk receiving. Some- too ill for outings- home cleaving; and others in Heaven- we're grieving. Our circle is broken- despairing- so missing the unified caring. Those left behind- slowly repairing to do our best- changes forbearing. Our circle of friends is now broken; now leaving those left so heartbroken. Our fun dates are empty- not open; our circle of friends is now broken.
