Broken
You know that feeling…
Uncertainty
Mixed with mild depression
The proverbial itch you can’t scratch
Because the feeling is beneath the surface
Deep
Penetrating each cell
Corrupting every organ
I’m sure you’ve felt the feeling…..
Sort of, an acute melancholy
With chronic indifference
When you don’t care-
But aren’t quite sure what you don’t care about
Straddling the fence
Lukewarm…towards life
We’ve all felt this feeling…….
Insufficient
Capable, but not trusted
Selfless, but never considered
Loving, but never loved
Forgotten
Unworthy
It’s happened to us all
That time in your life when you just feel……
Broken
