British Politicians

Oh, England a kingdom built for kings
A nation divided by false promises and mankind own greed
How lonely you look as you stand in the distance searching and awaiting
Hope and faith has abandon you
So rich but truly, so poor an island no more.

Separated and heart broken
Corrupted and unsure
Your petals have withered
Your stems bare thorns.

The doorway is shut
The nation is torn
The people are divided
Victory no more.

Political leaders confused and unsure
Destiny undetermined
Poverty on the rise
Hung Parliament.

For centuries you ruled
You determined our faith
We gave you trust
We believed in you.

Oh, England let your leaders hear your cry
No man can archive, strive or stand on his own
A great nation is a united nation

Political leaders who say, they care
They were meant to be your leader
They were meant to restore the land
Promises now shattered unity no more.
