Brilliant
Brilliant
The wind whistles soft
Through the old willow trees
The moon shines bright
Spectacular – beautiful - need not be heard nor seen
A diamond - still brilliant
When no one’s around
A brief pause in rhetoric
Can be so ever profound
The most beautiful things in life
May not ever be heard
But their beauty is not contingent
On an out spoken word
So if you feel like attention
Is not given to you
Attentions not needed
When you respect – all things that you do
You are the wind
That flows through the trees
Your brightness so shines
Spectacularly
You’re brilliant
Even when no one’s around
Rhetoric
When you give your best it’s profound
The most beautiful thing
Is being true to you
Even if no one is listening
You’re doing your best – you’re brilliant
What more could you do?
