Bright Eyes Skim

Quote By Rumi: "Shut your eyes so the heart may become your eye, and with that vision look upon another world".
************************
I am a tall, shallow shape.
searching for my unique persona—
my slim, bright eyes recall me.
as I skim, things don't look right.
Spotlighted flaws—
can you hear your heart?
I listen to your gaze,
flaws that only me
fathom when I focus
fictional factors
in inertia thrive—
Pick up your gaze,
and look at its drive
cutting up will support,
your loss—
It's a maze of ties,
a weaving of lust.
pristine poised oval,
expert, brine-edged eyebrow.
Aetheric echoes swirl in my maze.
your skin has caught my eye
and I smelled your zest.
I felt your lips—
listening to their scent,
as I savored your nose,
weaving tunes in my plexus
softly exhaled into your ear,
seeking to explore your abyss
unraveling the core of it all,
without words, indistinct evolve
your green-to-gold eyes—
summed up my feelings
a voice told me a worn story.
Pull my gaze and learn its crux,
far-fetched viscous force—
a tempting web of loops
tearing me apart lets you assess.
with a salt-kissed oval iris,
never fight—cling to my last sight
let me clog—I am a slog.
It's easier—to drift off sleazier.
Over the flow—and stained row,
I faced no hope—only grope
soul screens—reveal the glean
vice lurking—veil virtue smirking.
