Bright

I've decided to no longer live through this light
There is way too much darkness, nothing's bright
Just a silly girl thinking it'd be easier to move on
with a smile on her face while you were gone
I'm so tired of watching these seasons change
so tired of never being able to feel the same
Did you ever think it would be too much to admit
that it was wrong to promise something you never did
I walk down my hall, and turn to the left
I stood there staring at the bed where you slept
Thinking that wondering about you would help
Thinking, what if I fell in love with someone else
Then that would make this journey a breeze
Sadness is nothing you ask with please
I turn around and follow the beautiful light
Where there is no darkness, where everything is Bright.
