Briefly Built Memories

Life moves forward as the memories build
The good and Bad moments will come and go
But through my brief life, I will not be stilled
My heart will continue to love and grow

In my short time, I'll cherish all the good
For I won't be given another chance
And this notion is fully understood
Working hard in this life I shall enhance

All I ask for, happiness in the end
And with God by my side, it will be there
When the time comes for my soul to transcend
Leaving behind all the stress and despair

The love and joy I've earned in my short time
Will lead me into my state of sublime
