Brief: Coquelicot Poppy

Coquelicot Poppy fills the Earth with an abundance of fertile ecstasy! It lets me know as a young lady that birth is a gorgeous gift! (Written on June 30th, 2017 for Kim's Color Splash Contest) P.S. The color Coquelicot is a shade of red with an orange tint ~Won 6th place in the contest~

Wow Alyssa, I am with Jeremy and Carol, I too learned something new today. I had never heard of that color before and I read your notes and your response to Carol. Really nicely done. This should do well in the contest if I know Kim. She will love it.

Thank you so much, Chris! It took me awhile to figure out a color, flower, and research about it. This is the first Tanka I've ever written as well, so I'm pretty proud of my first attempt. I also wish you good luck in the contest! :)
