Bridges
In our isolation
we long for connection
to be a part of
a need to belong
We build bridges
to connect us
to bridge the gap
that divides us
Bridges are avenues
that link and connect
bringing us closer
to the corners of this earth
In this wide world
where there are walls
bridges are tools
to reach common goals
In this life we live
where divisions reign
bridges are means
to reach common end
Let's build bridges
instead of mending walls
let's break them down
and create a better world
