Bride

Snow falling softly
cloaking
a white landscape,
sounds all muffled
peace reigns here in
the stillness
the earth is dressed
as a bride

That bride walks
into spring
there she brings new
life
settling in,
bringing warmth
to the once frozen
land

Soon she will usher
in summer
there to prosper and
flourish
watching her
offspring grow
as she drifts off
into autumn

Shorter days now the
bride's reward
long chilly nights
now her only console
each one leading her
to the icy winter
no respite now, life
once more, full
circle

Snow falling softly
cloaking
a white landscape,
sounds all muffled
peace reigns here in
the stillness
the earth is dressed
as a bride

season's greeting to
you all hugs

Shadow, ------ ~ Did you really think I'd leave without stopping by to say Good-bye. Never, Muwahahahaha! Why the word alone sounds -forever and difficult. LOL, I love this place and the poets. A couple of soup friends and I are taking a short vacation. REMEMBER! The Best Thing About Leaving is the "RETURN." I will leave in good faith, in hopes you don't forget me, and you are looking forward in having me visit you and your poems in the future. HAHA, I will bring a new me when I return. "I Can't wait to see you again:) If you ever want me to read a certain poem or you wish to say hi... Drop by my E-Mail Address. [email protected] :) Sincerely yours ~Always & Forever~ The Sweet Poet Destroyer
