Breeze of Delirium

Like the spiral surge of the whirlwind
from the dipping edge of my tranquil twilight,
you rushed to my garden of departing spring,
where the vestiges of waned buds still bloomed,
tinged with the colors of my dreams of fantasy.

In the blast of the squall the petals dispersed,
drifting away in the darkness of the drizzling night
with the wilted splinters of my shattered dreams.
Yet I felt so completely blossomed in the wilderness,
swaying bemused in the breeze of delirium with you.
