Breathless

Im standing here, a quiet voice
A million worries start to fade
In the presence of Allah fear goes away
Breathless
On a tear stained prayer mat
I make my plea
I have no strength
I feel so weak
My hijab wrapped like a hug
It brings me peace
Breathless
A simple verse in quran
The lights go bright
What seemed so dark
Now shines free
Breathless
In the masjid my hearts at ease
A gemtle smile, a big reminder
The world still spins, I can breathe
